SolarBank has announced it will develop a 6.9 MW Brooklyn solar project, located in Nova Scotia and expected to power approximately 900 homes, under Canada’s first Community Solar Program. The initiative supports Nova Scotia’s target of 80% renewable energy by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2035. AI Renewable Fund owns the project; SolarBank serves as developer and builder. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026 and complete by Summer 2026, with total development cost estimated at $13.9 million. US Supreme Court Declines to Hear Apache Appeal Against Proposed Copper Mine
